Rules & Lore
The Dominion has laws older than memory. Learn them. Respect them. Survive.
The Law of the Land
Server Rules
These rules exist to protect the experience for everyone. Violations are handled by our moderation team. Repeated offenses result in permanent removal from the Dominion.
General Conduct
- 1.1Treat all players with respect. Harassment, hate speech, and targeted griefing are grounds for immediate removal.
- 1.2No cheating, hacking, or exploiting game mechanics. This includes using third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
- 1.3Do not impersonate staff members or other players.
- 1.4Keep all communication in English in global chat.
Combat & Survival
- 2.1Combat logging — disconnecting to avoid death — is strictly prohibited. A 5-minute logout timer is enforced.
- 2.2Spawn camping and killing freshly spawned players repeatedly in the same area is not permitted.
- 2.3Passive players (marked with a white flag) may not be attacked without provocation. Provoking a passive player to remove their status is a violation.
- 2.4Pack warfare is limited to groups of 6 for carnivores and 10 for herbivores to maintain server balance.
Territory & Nesting
- 3.1Nesting zones are protected areas. Destroying active nests without provocation is a bannable offense.
- 3.2Do not block water sources, food spawns, or critical pathways with bodies or debris intentionally.
- 3.3Territory claims must be actively defended. Abandoned territories (no activity for 48 hours) are open to claim.
Communication
- 4.1In-character communication is encouraged. Out-of-character chat should be kept to designated OOC channels.
- 4.2No advertising other servers, communities, or services in any chat channel.
- 4.3Staff decisions are final in-game. Appeals must be submitted through the Discord ticket system.

The Chronicle
World Lore
The world of Primeval Dominion is not merely a game server — it is a living chronicle. What follows is the recorded history of this land, as pieced together by those who survived long enough to tell it.
The Age Before Memory
Before the first pack formed, before the first territory was marked in blood, this land was simply called the Expanse. A vast, primordial wilderness stretching from the volcanic ridges of the north to the coastal marshes of the south.
The creatures that roamed here were not yet aware of dominion. They fed, they fled, they died. The cycle was absolute. There were no alliances, no grudges — only hunger and the endless turning of seasons.
The First Packs
It was the great predators who first understood that survival alone was not enough. A lone Utahraptor, scarred from a hundred encounters, gathered others of its kind beneath the shadow of the Ironback Ridge. They did not merely hunt together — they communicated. They planned.
The herbivores were not far behind. The great herds of Diabloceratops learned that numbers were their armor, and that a coordinated charge could scatter even the most fearless predator. The balance of power shifted, and the Expanse became contested ground.
The Dominion Accord
After the Great Drought of the Third Season — when water sources dried to mud and the land turned against all life equally — the packs made an uneasy truce. Not peace. Never peace. But a recognition that the land itself was the true adversary.
The Primeval Dominion was born from this accord. A shared understanding that the Expanse belongs to no single creature, no single pack. It is claimed by those strong enough to hold it, and surrendered to those stronger still. This is the law that predates all others.
